During August 29th to 31st, CETIM presented the LCA results conducted within MIDWOR-LIFE project at the “1st Life Cycle Innovation Conference” organized by FSLCI (Forum for Sustainability through Life Cycle Innovation).
The MIDWOR-LIFE team has recently joined the Global PFC Group from the OECD with the aim to promote beyond the project end the use of safer alternatives for durable water and oil repellents in the textile finishing industry.
As part of this wider dissemination plan, LEITAT and CETIM will be presenting the project as a case study in the upcoming webinar of the Global PFC Group.
MIDWOR-LIFE project announces the publication of the Layman’s report in all project languages.
The aim of this document is to provide a general and brief overview of the project and its outcomes to the general public. It was designed according to LIFE programme rules to facilitate the reading by non-experts in the field.
MIDWOR-LIFE projects present its final report on the results of the communication activities.

The MIDWOR-LIFE project was presented in Colombiamoda 2018 + Textiles2 in Medellin, Colombia from July 24th to 26th where leaflets and Layman’s report were distributed.
In addition, the project was also highlighted during the conference by Josep Casamada, Project Manager at AEI Tèxtils, on the Knowledge Pavilion parallel to the trade fair.
The conference focused on Sustainability and circular economy for improving the competitiveness of the textile industry. Read more
