MIDWOR-LIFE “Final event”: Registration is now open!

We kindly invite you to the MIDWOR-LIFE final event. The aim of this event is to present the key findings and outcomes from the MIDWOR-LIFE project and open a debate on the implementation of chemical substitution policies in the textile industry with focus on the use of Durable Water and Oil Repellents (DWORs) in textile finishing processes.

The event will be held in Brussels on June 5th 2018, venue: NH Carrefour de l’Europe (directions).

This event is organized by MIDWOR-LIFE project team.

The event objectives are to:

1. Present key findings form the MIDWOR-LIFE project as a case study aimed to find sustainable alternatives to DWORs containing PFOS & PFOA.
2. Discuss early results with international experts and increase stakeholder engagement.
3. Inform the industry about the needs to move toward alternative DWORs and currently available alternatives both from a risk and technical performance perspectives
4. Collect industry feedback about a pressing topic and engage industry collaboration for validation of safer and greener alternatives.
5. Foster networking among the different stakeholders involved.

Expenses
The event is free of charge.
Participants will need to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
